Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)
The next generation of PRP

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is the next generation of PRP. It is prepared in a specially-designed T-Lab™ PRX Tube, without an anticoagulant.

PRF is small in volume and has a gel-like consistency, which slowly releases growth factors over time. It is this growth factor release that provides a longer-term collagen production and a 'filling' effect.

The fibrin matrix formed is a three-dimensional, natural scaffold which contains a rich concentration of platelets, leukocytes, and mesenchymal stem cells.

The PRF matrix slowly releases growth factors (such as PDGF, VEGF, and TGF-β) over a long period of time, typically up to 14 days. This leads to the superior results and a 'filling' effect for areas such an under-eyes.

Compare
T-Lab™ PRP vs PRF

T-Lab™ PRP
- High G-force/spin speed
- Anticoagulant used
- Approx 4-5mL yield per tube
- Liquid consistency
- Immediate and rapid growth factor release
- Injection via needle/mesotherapy or microneedling
- Suitable for larger areas (e.g. scalp, full face, neck, orthopaedics, gynaecology etc)

T-Lab™ PRF
- Low G-force/spin speed
- No anticoagulant used
- Approx 1.5-2 mL yield per tube
- Begins liquid, then turns to a gel consistency
- Gradual growth factor release (14 days)
- Injection via cannula (25G) recommended
- Suitable for smaller areas (e.g. under-eyes, nasolabial folds, small areas of hairloss etc)

Advantages
Find out the additional benefits of the T-Lab™ Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) System
Become A T-Lab™ UserT-Lab™ PRX Tubes offer a form of chemical activator-free and anticoagulant-free injectable PRF.
Thanks to Micro-Polishing Technology, the inner surface of PRX tubes is smooth therefore prevents platelet aggregation. This allows the user to yield a completely anticoagulant-free I-PRF and A-PRF.
The smooth inner surface (Micro-Polishing technology) of T-Lab™ PRX Tubes prevents platelet aggregation and allows you to get I-PRF which can be injected for up to 30 minutes.
In addition to injectable-PRF, T-Lab™ PRX Tubes also offer an innovative protocol for clean A-PRF (solid/gel), typically used in dentistry and other fields of surgery.
T-Lab™ Clinical Training in PRP & PRF (preparation and administration), including a Certificate Of Attendance, is available to Nurses and Doctors across Australia & New Zealand. Enquire today to arrange Clinical Training.
